Vermont Division 2 Top 5: Hartford, Brattleboro Return To Poll With Solid Wins

No. 1 Harwood ran its winning streak to five with a 6-2 win against Northfield and remains in the top position in this week’s HNIB News Vermont Division 2 Top 5. The Highlanders’ only loss came Jan. 18 and they haven’t allowed more than two goals during the current winning streak.

No. 2 Woodstock is also on a five-game winning streak. It edged Burr & Burton, 1-0, and easily handled U-32, 8-2, this past week. 

No. 3 Lyndon Institute bumps up a spot after it doubled up St. Johnsbury, 6-3. The Vikings have now won 10 out of 11.

No. 4 Hartford jumps back into the Top Five after its 1-0 win over Missisquoi Valley Union. Hartford has won three out of four.

Also making a return appearance this week is No. 5 Brattleboro, which knocked off Milton, 3-2
