#1 Woodstock won the Division 2 title last year, beating Colchester. And, according to many coaches, the Wasps are the team to beat again.

Other coaches agree Brattleboro should be high on the list, and we’ve got them at #2 coming into the season.

Lyndon Institute gets our nod at No. 3 after a solid showing in the playoffs that ended in the semifinals.

Burr and Burton is getting some attention from coaches in the preseason. They clock in at #4 to start the season.

Hartford rounds out the preseason poll at #5.

“Overall, the league is very balanced this year,” Todd Bebeau, coach of the Hartford Hurricanes, said. “Woodstock has many key components back from their back-to-back state title teams. Brattleboro, Lyndon, Burr and Burton, and St. Johnsbury essentially have their entire teams returning as well.”
