There is little cause to make any movements in Division 1 this week. Each of the top three teams won their games, and the bottom two split their games, losing to the top two teams.

No. 1 Essex finished the week with its 14th straight win. It beat Stowe, 3-2, and Middlebury, 1-0.

No. 2 Rice picked up its third and fourth consecutive victories, beating Spaulding, 6-3, and Colchester, 6-2.

No. 3 BFA/St. Albans, meanwhile, rebounded from its earlier loss to Essex with a 6-0 win over South Burlington and a 6-1 victory over Rutland.

No. 4 Stowe has won three out of four games. It played Essex very competitively but fell, 3-2. It rebounded with a 6-5 win over South Burlington.

No. 5 Spaulding also had a split this week. It fell for the second time in a row, losing to Rice, 6-3, but bounced back with a 4-1 win over Champlain Valley Union.
