No. 1 Woodstock continues to hold down the top spot. The reigning State Champion Wasps kicked off a busy week against Hartford Monday, followed by road games against Burr & Burton on Wednesday and Brattleboro on Saturday.

No. 2 Missisquoi Valley knocked off Hartford, 3-1, but settled for a tie against Burlington. It’s a light week for the Thunderbirds who take on Mt. Mansfield Wednesday.

It was a split week for No. 3 Colchester, which fell to suddenly pesky Hartford, 3-1, but rebounded to knock of U-32. The Lakers take on Northfield Wednesday and Burr & Burton Saturday.

No. 4 Mount Mansfield also ran afoul of Hartford, 4-0, but knocked off Brattleboro, 6-3, Saturday. The Cougars opened a three-game week Monday against Lyndon Institute, then hit the road to face Missisquoi Wednesday and U-32 Saturday.

New No. 5 Burr & Burton is in the midst of a strong second half and knocked off both Brattleboro, 3-2, and St. Johnsbury, 4-2, in the past week. Three games are on this week’s docket – at Burlington on Monday and home to Woodstock Wednesday and Colchester Saturday.
