Interesting that, although No. 1 Woodstock has paced the pack all season, the top spot in HNIB’s final regular-season poll next week remains in jeopardy. That bit of business will be settled by Monday’s visit to No. 2 Missisquoi.

Woodstock picked up five of six points last week, defeating Hartford and Burr & Burton before tying Brattleboro for the second time this season on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Missisquoi handled Mt. Mansfield, 7-2, in its only game. It wraps up the regular season Wednesday against Lyndon Institute.

No. 3 Colchester handled Northfield, 6-0, and upended Burr & Burton, 2-1. The Lakers head to Brattleboro for Wednesday’s regular-season closer.

After losing to Lyndon, 5-4, and Misisquoi, 7-2, No. 4 Mt. Mansfield salvaged the week with a lopsided win against U-32, securing its third straight 10-win campaign. They finish up Wednesday at Burlington.

New No. 5 Lyndon Institute scored that win against Mt. Mansfield, lost to Milton, then upended Hartford. They close out the regular season Wednesday at Missisquoi.
