Vermont D2 Top 5: Mt. Mansfield Knocks Woodstock From Unbeaten Ranks

The other shoe finally dropped. No. 1 Woodstock suffered its first regular-season loss since 2016-17 at the hands of Mt. Mansfield Union, 4-1, on Saturday. The defending champs look to rebound Wednesday against Hartford before Saturday’s trek to Lyndon Institute.

No. 2 Colchester handled Burlington with ease, 6-0. Harwood and D1 Stowe provide this week’s competition.

No. 3 Missisquoi doubled up Burr & Burton, 4-2, and shut out Milton, 3-0. Trips to Hartford and Milton are on tap this week.

No. 4 Mt. Mansfield cracks  the poll on the strength of it upset of Woodstock. MMU looks to keep it going this week against Lyndon and Harwood.

The upcoming week will be no easy venture for No. 5 Harwood with a trip to Colchester and home date against MMU.
