No. 1 LaSalle held serve and beat Christian Brothers Academy of New Jersey, 6-5.
No. 2 Cumberland sat idle most of the week and was scheduled to take on RMR Sunday, Jan. 5.
No. 3 Smithfield played out of league last week, beating Notre Dame of Connecticut, 8-2, and losing to Canton, 5-2, and Bishop Feehan, 4-1 – each of those teams from Massachusetts.
No. 4 Mount St. Charles had a solid 8-2 win over No. 8 Barrington, which stays put.
No. 5 South Kingstown makes the leap up a couple spots after a huge win over Division 2 rival, No. 6 Lincoln, which holds it position.
No. 7 Hendricken beat Burrillville, 7-1, but lost to Pope Francis of Massachusetts, 6-1.
No. 8 Barrington beat Moses Brown, 2-1, in addition to that loss to the Mounties.
No. 9 North Smithfield beat Ponaganset, 4-0, and No. 10 Portsmouth moves into the Top 10 after wins over East Greenwich (2-1) and RMR (4-3).
