The latest installment of the HNIB News Rhode Island Top 6 sees some shuffling at the top.

Bishop Hendricken (15-2-0) takes over at #1, thanks primarily to a 6-2 thrashing of LaSalle Academy. The Hawks who travel to the Pope Francis Invitational this weekend, had recent wins over Moses Brown, and Connecticut foes Xavier, Darien and Woodstock Academy.

Despite the loss to the Hawks, LaSalle Academy (12-4-1) moves up to #2, as the Rams handed Prout School its first in-state loss of the season, taking a 2-0 win. The Rams also beat Mt. St. Charles and Burrillville, and had an impressive win over Darien (CT). Pilgrim and Cumberland are up this weekend.

Prout School (18-2-0) is a close #3. The Crusaders have a Wednesday date with Pilgrim and will see Smithfield on Saturday.

Barrington (9-5-0) holds on to the #4 spot. The Eagles posted wins over Cumberland and Pilgrim around a loss to Prout School.

#5 Burrillville (10-6-0) stays firm at #5. The Broncos rolled past North Kingstown and Moses Brown, and also beat East Greenwich 7-3. They host Barrington on Friday night.

Smithfield (9-8-0) again rounds out the Top 6. The Sentinels had a 1-0 loss to Ridgefield (CT), but a key 3-2 win over Mt. St. Charles.
