It was holiday tourney week for many teams in Rhode Island. Consequently, No. 1 LaSalle sat idle and travels to Mount St. Charles Jan. 3.

No. 4 Mount St. Charles advanced to the finals of its own holiday faceoff against St. Joe’s Sunday, falling in a shootout 3-2 in a fantastic contest. The Mounties beat Franklin (MA), 2-0, and Bishop Guertin (NH), 3-1,  for their first two wins of the season.

No. 5 Lincoln remained undefeated and has the most wins in the state heading into the coming week.

No. 6 Bishop Hendricken dropped all three of its games at the MSC Faceoff and looks to jump-start the season when league play resumes.

No. 7 South Kingstown sat idle and is undefeated heading into 2020.

No. 8 Barrington lost in a shootout, 3-2, to Foxboro (MA) in the Dartmouth Holiday Hockey Tournament.

No. 9 North Smithfield pops into the poll after a nice 6-3 win over Coventry in the Burrillville Winter Classic, and No. 10 RMR stayed put this week.
