Rhode Island Top 10: After A Light Week, Action Set To Pick Up

#1Bishop Hendricken had an easy time with Prout, winning, 5-1.

#2 LaSalle topped Moses Brown/East Providence/Tolman, 3-0, its lone game this week. It meets Hendricken Feb. 1 at Thayer Arena (6 p.m.).

#3 Mount St. Charles blanked Prout, 7-0, in its only game of the week.

#4 Smithfield sat idle. Its only scheduled game (Mount St. Charles Jan. 19) was postponed because of weather.

#5 Cumberland missed its only game of the week because of weather.

#6 Ponaganset had no scheduled games and resumes action Monday, Jan. 21, against North Kingstown (Dunkin Donuts Center, 12:15 p.m.).

#7 Burrillville pick up a nice win over Barrington, 6-1.

#8 PSW sat idle this past week.

#9 Lincoln did not play this past week but is on a five-game unbeaten streak. A couple of losses drops Cranston West (7-6-0) to #10/
