Kevin Stone, a Waltham High Class of 06 graduate, played lacrosse and golf before going into journalism at New England College in Henniker, NH. Kevin went to Framingham State and Middlesex Community College after that. He started doing freelance work in August of 2008, working for The Palo Alto Daily (Palo Alto, CA) and The Waltham Daily News Tribune, and worked for Patch.com until getting jobs with The Norwood Record and Metro West Daily News in 2012. #1 LaSalle Academy (17-1-0 overall) did as expected this past weekend, posting wins over Cumberland (6-1) and Mt. St. Charles (5-1). After facing Moses Brown on Wednesday, LaSalle has a huge one with #2 East Greenwich (12-2-0) on Friday night.

The Avengers took down Moses Brown for their 12th win of the season. They face Warwick Monday night and Burrillville Tuesday before seeing LaSalle.

East Greenwich fell to LaSalle 2-1 back in December.

#3 Bishop Hendricken (9-3-1) blanked Barrington and is now off until February 15th.

#4 North Kingstown (11-1-2) continues to be the class of Division 2. NK shutout Lincoln in its only action of the week and will face Cranston West on Wednesday and #5 Rogers/Middletown/Rocky Hill (8-4-1) on Friday

RMR needed overtime to get past Portsmouth on Sunday and will see St. Raphael Academy Wednesday.
