LaSalle Academy 7, Catholic Memorial (MA) 2

The Rams won interstate bragging rights with the win over the Massachusetts team out of Boston. Ethan Cordeiro’s goal early in the third gave LaSalle a 5-1 lead. Jack Devine added one for LaSalle in the final period, his second of the night. Jack Gannon, Matt Walsh, Austin Tasca and Kyle Chelo also got in on the scoring action for the winners.

LaSalle 4, Prout 0

Brayden Edwards had two goals and an assist, and Kevin Kanaczet and Cordeiro netted the other two. Joseph Iannuccilli took care of things in net with the shutout.

The Rams had goals from Ethan Cordeiro, Austin Tasca (two), Kevin Kanaczet, Jack Gannon and Thomas Delfarno.

Bishop Hendricken 3, Smithfield 1

Hendricken’s Nicholas DeFelice scored 1:11 into the final period to give his team breathing room in the win. Owen Leahy and Ryan Mitchell scored for the winners. Sean Martin had the Smithfield goal.

Mount St. Charles 2, Franklin (MA) 0

Trey Bourque had the game-winner, and Matt Mahoney netted an empty net goal. Mounties goalie Sean Trottier came up big with the shutout.

Smithfield 8, Notre Dame 2 (CT)

Benny Thibeault (hat trick), Chris Disano (two), Ben Mercurio, Nicholas Tsonos and Chase Rinker had the goals for the winners of the St. Dominic Academy Christmas Classic.

Burrillville 7, North Smithfield 0

Jack Farrell (two), Troy Phillips (two), Ryan Boutiette, Cade Pilling and Cam DeSante had the goals in the interdivision game.

Burrillville 10, Coventry 2

Cam DeSante (two), Mitch Farrell, Cam Menard, Ryan Boutiette (hat trick), Jack Farrell and Ben Anderson had the goals for the winners.

Division 2

Lincoln 5, Cranston West 2

Colby Acciardo had a hat trick and Kyle Costa added two goals for Lincoln. Goalie AJ Bruscini had 24 saves in the win.

Lincoln 7, North Kingstown 2

Spencer Smith and Colby Acciardo each had hat tricks, and Kevin Degnan adding another power play goal. The PP was strong during this game as Lincoln scored on five of eight chances. AJ Bruscini was strong again in net anchoring the defense, which included Kevin Degnan, Darien Carney, Aidan Forrest, Landon Forrest and Chris Acciardi playing significant roles.

North Kingstown 8, Ponaganset 1

The game was tied at one in the first before North Kingstown took off. Owen O’Farrell finished with a hat trick for the winners, and Nicholas Chabot (two), Carter Damm, Tanner Wadovik and Conall Gatley added goals. Chabot had three assists. Braeden Perry had 27 saves for the winners. Ponaganset’s John O’Donnell scored his team’s lone goal.
