Rhode Island Highlights: Michael Sollenberger (4 goals) drives Pilgrim to victory

Pilgrim 9, Narragansett/Chariho 2

Michael Sollenberger had four goals and an assist to lead the way for the winners. Collin Driscoll added two goals and an assist. Matt Pacheco scored and added two assists. AJ Sherlock picked up three assists and a goal, and Andrew Canning contributed a goal and an assist.

Mount Hope 4, Pilgrim 1

Jack Dolan had a pair of goals, and Kyrik Cordeiro and David Benevides added the others. Devon Loiselle made 31 saves. Collin Driscoll scored for Pilgrim.

Mount St. Charles 3, Prout 2

Mount St. Charles rallied with two goals in the final period for a come-from-behind win. Brendan Shandley had the game-winner, and Jacob Maddalena tied it. Shandley had two goals in the game. Kyle Hart and Bennett Masterson did the scoring for Prout.

Bishop Hendricken 3, Cumberland 0

Matt Dumond, Michael Boscia and Brett Berard took care of the scoring, and Patrick Gribbin got the shutout. Berard also added an assist.

Smithfield 5, Cranston Coop 0

Daniel Smith had a hat trick, and Joseph Paiva and Ryan Falls (three assists) also had goals. Hogan Nelson earned the shutout.

West Warwick/Exeter/West Greenwich 5, Johnston/North Providence 0

WW/E/WG made it a productive night with five different goal-scorers: Nicholas Pecchia, Ethan Jedson, Liam Hogan, Nicholas Sernberger and Alex Jedson. Samuel Paiva had the shutout.

LaSalle 2, Xavier 1

The Connecticut school took a 1-0 lead into the third period against Rhode Island’s No. 1. But LaSalle rallied with goals from Ryan Schwender and Colin Chapman in the final period.

Mt. Hope 4, Scituate/Woonsocket 2

Mount Hope got two goals from Cam Rancourt and single tallies from Jack Dolan and David Benevides. Matthew Jarret scored twice for the losers.
