Rhode Island Highlights: Lincoln’s Acciardo Hits 100 Career Points With A Hat Trick

Division 1

Bishop Hendricken

Bishop Hendricken 6, Barrington 0

Owen Leahy had a pair of two goals. Cam Adamec added three assists. Alex Giuliano, Will Healey, Jack Drohen and Domenic Eacuello had the other Hendricken goals.

Mt. St. Charles

Mount St. Charles Academy 10, Burrillville 2

Mount St. Charles built a 3-0 lead and never looked back. Alex Pratt led the way with four goals for the Mounties. Ben Anderson and Ryan Boutiette scored the goals for Burrillville.

LaSalle Academy 5, Smithfield 2

Smithfield scored first and had a 2-1 lead after one period, but the Rams scored four unanswered over the second and third periods. John Devine led the way with two goals for the winners, and Ethan Cordeiro, Kevin Kanaczet and James McCue-Louvet scored the other goals. Ben Thibeault and Ryan Pomposelli scored for Smithfield.

Bishop Hendricken 5, Moses Brown/East Providence/Tolman 2

Matthew Moretti scored twice in the first period, and Nathan Palumbo, Drohen and Giuliano added the other goals. Cameron Bernard and Henry Alessandro scored for MB/EP/T.

LaSalle 2, Xavier (CT) 2

Kyle Chelo and Austin Tasca scored the goals, and Joseph Iannuccilli made 27 saves in this interstate matchup.

Smithfield 7, Barrington 2

Barrington scored the first and last goals (each of them) but it wasn’t nearly enough. Thibeault (two), Anthony Mercurio (two), Chris DiSano (two) and Paul Marchetti scored for Smithfield.

Division 2

Lincoln 5, Portsmouth 1

Colby Acciardo had a hat trick and added a helper. He became the sixth Lincoln player to reach 100 career points.

Cumberland 4, North Smithfield 0

Freshman Jaime Robbins had a hat trick in the win, which officially clinched Cumberland’s second straight regular-season title.

Cranston West

Cranston West 6, South Kingstown 5

Cam Koretsky had a hat trick, and Noah Amaral, Andrew Martin and Thomas Harper also scored in the win.

Division 3

Pilgrim 7, Johnston/North Providence/Tiverton 5

Pilgrim’s Sean Noel had a hat trick in the win. Aaron Sherlock scored a pair of goals, and Collin Driscoll and Daniel DeRobbio also added goals for Pilgrim. Dylan Cunetta had 29 saves in the win. Christian Campbell, Noah St. Denis, Jeremy Gervais, Seth Jacyssin and captain Ryan DiLorenzo scored for J/NP/T.

Johnston/North Providence/Tiverton 6, Narragansett/Chariho 4

Ryan DiLorenzo had a hat trick, and Christian Campbell added two goals while Caleb Foreman had the other. Ethan Arruda had 30 saves in the win.
