Rhode Island Highlights: Clements’ OT strike pushes Pilgrim past Mount Hope

Pilgrim 4, Mount Hope 3 (OT)

Jack Clements’ second goal with 1:24 left in overtime was the difference. AJ Sherlock and Will Morrisette also scored for the winners. Mt. Hope got goals from Ryan Cordeiro, Cory Burke and David Benevides.

Barrington 4, North Kingstown 1

Barrington had four goal-scorers: Luke Rudman, Jonathan Fay, Matt Bates and Matt Spears. Jack McCormack scored for North Kingstown. Matthew Hosey got the win in net.

South Kingstown 5, East Providence/Lincoln 3

South Kingstown scored three third-period goals to battle from behind. Robert Sprague had two of those goals, and Curtis Rasmussen had the other. Joshua Pelton and Andy Sprague also scored. Brenden Gannon, Jack Halloran and Colby Acciardo had the goals for EP/Lincoln.

Burrillville

Burrillville 3, Mount St. Charles 3

The back-and-forth affair saw Burrillville’s Kyle Pelletier tie it midway through the third. Elliot Lafond and Ryan Deschamps also scored for Burrilliville. The Mounties got goals from Bryan Testa, Jacob Maddalena and Alex Pratt. Alex Gonfrade had two assists.

North Kingstown 1, Ponaganset 0

Nicholas Sellers’ goal on assists from Jack McCormack and Griffin Mancini was the only tally in the game.

PCD/St. Raphael/Wheeler 3, North Smithfield 2 (OT)

Dennis Gastel’s goal won it. Cameron Yee had the other two goals. Donte Driscoll and Jackson Lynch scored for North Smithfield.

Portsmouth 3, Toll Gate 1

Portsmouth built a 3-0 lead on goals from Tim Jackson, Christian Schenck and Maxwell Dooley. Nathan McCamish came back with a goal for Toll Gate.

Moses Brown 7, Smithfield 1

Tyler Varin scored with less than a minute to go in the first period to cut into Moses Brown lead, 2-1, but it was all MB from there with five unanswered goals. Jake Studley led the way with a hat trick, and Jacob Steckler added two goals. Zach DeCosta and Tyler King also scored.

LaSalle 4, Cranston 0

Justin Spencer recorded his fifth shutout. Colin Chapman, John Devine, Liam Peterson and Brayden Edwards scored and Nick DiMuccio and Ryan Schwender had two assists apiece.

North Smithfield 4, East Greenwich 0

Adam Blakemore, Jack Losardo, Mitchell Prudhomme and Robert Martufi had the goals.
