The Rhode Island Interscholastic League (RIIL) post-season state tournaments in both Division 1 and Division 2 get underway on Tuesday.
In Division 1, four single-game quarterfinal games are slated for Tuesday. Here are the pairings:
#8 Cumberland (3-6-0) at #1 Mount St. Charles (8-0-1)
#5 Smithfield (4-3-2) at #4 LaSalle Academy (5-3-1)
#7 East Greenwich (2-4-3) at #2 Bishop Hendricken (6-2-1)
#6 Barrington (3-4-2) at #3 Burrillville (4-3-2) *Game is cancelled. Burrillville will advanced to semifinals.
Semifinal best two-of-three series are scheduled for this weekend, with the first games facing off on Friday night. Game 2s would be Saturday, and, if necessary, Game 3 on Monday, March 1st.
The championship series will be held on Friday, March 5, Saturday, March 6 and, if necessary, Monday, March 8th. All semifinal and final games will be held in home rinks.

#12 Narragansett (2-6-0) at #5 Portsmouth (4-3-1)
#9 South Kingstown (2-6-0) at #8 St. Raphael Academy (4-3-1)
#11 Mt Hope (3-5-0) at #6 Coventry (3-5-0)
#10 Lincoln (5-1-1) at #7 Warwick Co-op (5-1-2)
The four winners will play a single-game quarterfinal scheduled for Thursday, February 25th:
Narragansett/Portsmouth winner at #4 North Smithfield (7-2-0)
South Kingstown/ St. Raphael Acadey winner at #1 Cranston West (6-0-1)
Mt. Hope/Coventry winner at #3 North Kingstown (5-2-0)
Lincoln/Toll Gate winner at #2 Rogers/Middletown/Rocky Hill (7-1-0)
Semifinal best-of-three series will begin on Saturday and the championship series will commence on March 5th.
