NJ HS Hockey – Ridge Solid, Bridgewater-Raritan Rebuilding In Skyland Conference

The Red Devils will be looking for contributions from a host of players as they embark on what should be a very competitive Skylands Conference slate.

Coach Tim Mullin sees a bunch of returning forwards in seniors Matt Balzarotti, Colin Kirkwood, Grant Loges and Erik Helgusen, junior Nick DelGaizo, and sophomores Reese Judson, Jamie Zimmerman and Colin Ward.

Goalie Jack Richter returns from last winter’s solid club, as do seniors Tommy Vitolo and Erik Shubert and sophomore Zach Alvin on the blue line.

It will be a rebuilding season for the Panthers, who project to be very young.

Junior Sean Komorowski and sophomore Chris Jannone are key returners at forward for coach Patrick Alvin.

On defense, seniors Alex Thode and Nick Carvalho will bring their experience. Freshman Ryan Rutkowski should help out. Another freshman – Preston Baker – will be battling for minutes in goal.
