Somersworth/Coe-Brown scored first and last but Spaulding struck for five unanswered in between to win the Brian Doucette Memorial Holiday Tournament championship, 5-2. Justin Jewell had two goals and an assist and Nick Allen notched a goal and an assist. William Ohrenberger scored both goals for SBC.

Bedford routed Division 1 Hanover, 7-1, to win the McDonough Division at the Bauer Christmas Hockey Classic. Asa Parker and Mike Dee popped in two goals apiece for the Bulldogs, who swept past three D1 teams – Hanover, Memorial and Concord – to reach the overall tournament title game.

Unbeaten Bow belted winless Timberlane, 10-3, behind two goals apiece from Jake Rand and Chris Fournier.

Somersworth/Coe-Brown got the game-winner from Ryan Cordeiro early in the third period of a 2-1 decision of Pembroke-Campbell, 2-1. Cordeiro had both Bearcats’ goals, countering a 38-save performance from Pembroke-Campbell’s Nick Berube.

Winnacunnet rallied to knock off Kingswood, 4-3, in the championship game of the Kingswood Christmas Tournament. Matt Dzialo tied it and Casey Glynn won it with 1:30 remaining. Brandon McGirl had two goals, capping a grueling three-day stretch that saw the Warriors win four games in roughly 48 hours, including a 6-3 decision of defending State Champ John Stark/Hopkinton.
