There seems to be no slowing down for No. 1 Belmont-Gilford. After knocking off Sanborn-Epping 7-1 and improving to 11-0 on the season they’re turning their heads towards this week. They’ll be hosting a winless Laconia-Winnesquam-Interlakes team before the long-awaited rematch with Berlin-Gorham.
Continuing their winning ways is No. 2 Pembroke-Campbell. PAC got their fourth win in a row when they knocked off John Stark-Hopkinton-Hillsboro-Deering, 4-3. They’ll be looking to keep things rolling when they play Laconia/W/I and Lebanon-Stevens/Mt Royal this week.
No. 3 Berlin-Gorham took out Hollis-Brookline Derryfield, 5-3 in their only game of the week. The Mountaineers take on Kennett mid-week and end the week with a must-see matchup with Belmont-Gilford.
No. 4 Hollis-Brookline Derryfield dropped a 5-3 decision to Berlin-Gorham at home. They’ll be hosting Kearsarge-Plymouth before heading on the road to take on winless Lebanon-Stevens-Mt Royal.
Jumping up one spot in No. 5 Kingswood. They managed to get two games in this past week and played well in both. An 8-3 win over John Stark/H/H/D and a 2-0 win over Kearsarge-Plymouth helped the Knights improve to 7-4 on the season. Sanborn-Epping and Kennett are next up for Kingswood.
No. 6 Kennett defeated Lebanon/S/Mt Royal, 4-1 on “Hockey Fights Cancer Night” at the Ham arena. The Eagles have a tough three-game week ahead starting with a home game vs John Stark/H/H/D and then they travel for games with Berlin-Gorham and Kingswood.
