There is a very slight shift in the middle of this week’s HNIB News News Hampshire Division 2 Top 8. Otherwise things stand pat.

Undefeated No. 1 St. Thomas Aquinas (8-0-0 overall) knocked off Merrimack Saturday and faces Dover Monday in Round One of their city rivalry.

No. 2 Oyster River (3-2-0) returns to the ice for the first time in a week with three games in four days — home against D1 Bow and then back in the division against Dover and at Merrimack,

No. 3 Portsmouth/Newmarket (6-2-0) had its five-game winning streak snapped by Goffstown, 4-2.Home games against NNS and Spaulding are on the docket this week.

New No. 4 Dover (4-2-0) and No. 5 Somersworth/Coe Brown (5-2-0 overall) swap spots after the Green Wave prevailed Saturday, 5-3. The Tsunami takes on cross-town rival STA Monday, visits Oyster River Thursday and is home to D3 Berlin/Gorham Saturday. The Bearcats face Spaulding Monday and head to Timberlane Saturday.

No. 6 Goffstown (5-3-0) scored that solid decision of Portsmouth/Newmarket. Timberlane and Bp. Brady are up next for the Grizzlies.

No. 7 Kingswood (4-5-0) has dropped two straight.

No. 8 Merrimack (1-2-0) picked up its first win.
