St. Thomas Aquinas (14-0-0 overall) continues to set the pace in New Hampshire Division 2 hockey. The Saints posted wins over rival Dover (6-4) and Somersworth/Coe-Brown (4-2). They are at Goffstown Monday night and then face Kingswood in back-to-back contests.

#2 Oyster River (9-3-0) also won twice, beating Merrimack and Kingswood. OR has lost twice to St. Thomas and once to D1 Bedford only this year. OR gets Goffstown on Wednesday and then Timberlane Saturday.

Dover (6-6-0) jumps up to #3. The Green Wave played well in the loss to St. Thomas, but rebounded with a solid decision of Goffstown. Winnacunnet (Wednesday) and Spaulding (Saturday) are on this week’s slate.

#4 Somersworth/Coe-Brown (9-4-0) also fell to the top-ranked Saints, but had wins over D3’s top club Berlin/Gorham and Merrimack. S/CB faces Spaulding (Wednesday) and Goffstown (Saturday).

#5 Portsmouth/Newmarket (9-3-1) fell to Winnacunnet (5-4) and bounced back with a win over Alvirne/Milford (6-0). The Mules get Alvirne/Milford again on Wednesday.

#6 Goffstown (8-4-1) has a big week ahead playing three of the top four teams.

#7 Merrimack (6-7-0) had a busy week, winning twice (Spaulding, Winnacunnet) and losing twice (Oyster River, S/CB).

#8 Kingswood (5-7-1) has the unenviable task of playing St. Thomas twice this coming week.
