No. 1 Concord stays atop its perch iin the HNIB News New Hampshire Division 1 Top 10 after two big wins.  A 5-4 overtime victory over rival Exeter and 7-1 thumping of Londonderry keeps the Tide locked in the top spot.  The Bedford Bulldogs are next up for Concord after the Holiday break.

With only one game this past week, No. 2 Salem stays in the second spot after getting by Manchester Central/West, 6-5.

No. 3 Bishop Guertin remained unbeaten with a 2-1 win over Windham.  They haven’t scored a ton of goals but they’re getting the job done.  After the break they’ll face Exeter and Trinity in back-to-back games.

Moving up the rankings is No. 4 Bedford.  The Bulldogs climb to 3-0 on the season after knocking off Trinity, 4-3.  Their biggest test of the season is ahead when they take on Concord.

No. 5 Exeter has battled but lost back-to-back overtime games, the latest being the 5-4 OT loss to Concord.  They’re better than their record indicates but they’ll have to show something against Bishop Guertin in their next game.

Despite their 1-2 record, No. 6 Trinity has been in the mix.  They lost a close one to Bedford this past week and they’ll take on Bishop Guertin next so it doesn’t get any easier.

No. 7 Londonderry falls three spots after dropping to 1-3 on the season. They’ve had a tough schedule in the early going and hung in there.  We’ll see what they can do against Hanover in their next game.

No. 8 Pinkerton rolled over Bishop Brady 10-0 and faces a couple of tough opponents in their next couple of games including Concord right after the break.

No. 9 Keene re-appears in the top ten after beating a tough Londonderry team, 6-4.  The Blackbirds will host D2 Merrimack after the break.

Also making their debut in the rankings is No. 10 Hanover.  They got a much needed 4-1 win against Bow after dropping their first two games.  Londonderry is on tap next as they attempt to even their record.
