New Hampshire Division 3 Poll
No. 1 John Stark/Hopkinton has given no indication it is slowing down any time soon as it seeks a third straight State Final appearance. JSH walloped Manchester West in its first post-holiday game Saturday, 11-2. ConVal and No. 6 Moultonborough/Interlakes are up next.
No. 2 Belmont/Gilford returns to league action Wednesday night at No. 3 Berlin-Gorham and follows up with a home date against No. 7 Kearsage Saturday.
It’s a potentially big week for Berlin-Gorham. In games that should sharpen the picture of the division race, the Mountaineers square off with Belmont-Gilford Wednesday and No. 5 Souhegan on Saturday.
No. 4 Kennett has re-defined itself as a defense-first club. However, the Eagles’ offense will be looking to spread its wings a bit with Manchester West and No. 8 Laconia/Winnisquam on the schedule this week.
Souhegan started the post-holiday portion of it schedule by doubling up Laconia/Winnisquam, 6-3. The defending champs hit the road this week for games at Kearsage and Berlin-Gorham.
