New Hampshire D3 Poll
No. 1 Belmont/Gilford handled No. 7 Kearsage earlier in the week but had its 14-game winning streak snapped by Souhegan Saturday, 3-1. They will still head into the six-team tournament as the top seed.
Although it will be seeded third in the tournament, No. 2 Berlin/Gorham jumps up one spot following a 6-1 win against John Stark/Hopkinton that was the highlight of a three-win week. The Mountaineers have won 10 straight.
No. 3 John Stark/Hopkinton faced a competitive week, tying Kennett in Saturday’s season finale, 4-4, following the loss to Berlin/Gorham. The Generals look to be locked in as the tournament’s second seed.
It was a solid closing week for No. 4 Kennett, which preceded the tie against JSH with a win against ConVal.
Meanwhile, defending State Champion No. 5 Souhegan delivered a loud message in the final week, sweeping a two-game set from No. 6 Moultonborough/Interlakes prior to upsetting Belmont/Gilford.
