The rankings could well look different next week as the top three teams – Dover, STA and Keene – all meet.

Undefeated No. 1 Dover escaped a bit of a sticky wicket last Wednesday with a 5-4 win against Somersworth/Coe-Brown. Weather permitting, the Green Wave kicks off a three-game week on MLK Day against St. Thomas Aquinas and completes a three-game week at Timberlane and at Keene.

No. 2 St. Thomas Aquinas has been unbeatable since its season-opening loss to Keene. The week sets up perfectly with home dates against Dover Monday, Keene Wednesday, and No. 10 Kingswood Friday.

Following Monday’s matinee against Portsmouth/Newmarket, No. 3 Keene is at STA on Wednesday seeking a series sweep and home to Dover on Saturday.

No. 4 Goffstown has seen its early momentum by losses in two of its last three games. The Grizzlies head to Portsmouth/Newmarket Friday night.

This will be a proving week for No.5 Portsmouth/Newmarket, loser of two straight. The three-game week opens at Keene and includes a home date with Goffstown.
