The disparity between No. 1 Keene and nearly every Division 2 opponent is plain to see. The Blackbirds have allowed more than one goal in a game once all season while racking up a 46-7 differential.

Defending State Champion Windham, riding a four-game winning streak, was the latest to fall Saturday night, 4-1. It’s a light week for Keene, which visits No. 7 Kingswood Wednesday in its only action.

No. 2 Bow kept pace, stretching its winning streak to seven games with lopsided wins against Alvirne and No. 9 Oyster River. The Falcons could put some distance between themselves and the rest of the pack this week – after taking on D1 Bishop Brady Monday they have a Wednesday-Saturday home-and-home with Windham.

No. 3 Windham knocked off No. 6 St. Thomas Aquinas before falling to Keene. The results of this week’s games against Bow will go a long way toward shaping the second half of the season for both clubs.

No. 4 Goffstown holds steady. The Grizzlies rebounded from a one-goal loss against D1 Nashua South/Pelham with an 11-1 rout of Winnacunnet. Visits to Lebanon/Stevens and St. Thomas Aquinas are on tap this week.

No. 5 Dover seems to have hit its stride and earns a Top Five spot on the strength of a three-win week against STA, Nashua South/Pelham and Alvirne. The Green Wave host Timberlane and travel to Merrimack this week.
