If there is a way to slow down the juggernaut that is No. 1 Keene, it is not yet apparent. The Blackbirds are toying with opponents at this point. This week’s shutout of Merrimack and Winnacunnet by a 15-0 aggregate elevated their differential to plus-70 (78-8). They travel to No. 6 Goffstown for their only game this week.

No. 2 Bow has been very nearly as dominant, unbeaten (11-0-1) since losing to Keene in the season’s second game. The Falcons handled Goffstown mid-week before routing No. 9 Kingswood Saturday. They are off until hosting Dover on Saturday.

No. 3 Windham snapped its 0-2-1 mini-skid with a 4-3 mid-week win against Kingswood. It’s another light week for Windham with Wednesday’s home date against Oyster River its only action.

No. 4 Dover has won seven straight after Saturday’s 6-3 win against No. 7 Spaulding, during which the Green Wave has outscored opponents, 38-12. They face town rival No. 8 St. Thomas Aquinas Wednesday before Saturday’s trek to Bow.

No. 5 Oyster River is the week’s big mover, jumping four spots after wins against St. Thomas Aquinas and Goffstown. OR visits both Windham and Winnacunnet this week.
