After a one-week absence, No. 1 Hanover vaulted three spots to reclaim the top with Saturday’s 3-2 win against previously unbeaten Pinkerton in its only action of the week. The Marauders face another one-game week when No. 6 Windham visits next Saturday.
No. 2 Bedford unleashed a 54-shot assault in its 6-0 whitewash of Bow on Saturday. The Bulldogs dispatched Windham earlier in the week, 4-2. Home dates with Manchester on Tuesday and Nashua South/Pelham on Saturday are on this week’s slate.
Prior to losing the key head-to-head with reigning State Champion Hanover, No. 3 Pinkerton posted its fourth shutout by dispatching Manchester Central/West, 8-0. The Astros host Londonderry Wednesday then head to No. 8 Exeter on Saturday.
No. 4 Concord turned in a sound effort in its only game of the week, a 5-1 decision of No. 7 Trinity on Saturday. The Crimson Tide travels to Nashua North/Souhegan Monday and entertains Bishop Guertin in a Top Five clash on Wednesday.
No. 5 Bishop Guertin has rattled off five wins in a row since starting the season with two losses. Following Wednesday’s visit to Concord, the Cardinals host Bow on Saturday.
