No. 1 Bedford (8-0-0) solidified its hold on the top spot with a solid 4-2 road win at Bow Saturday night. The two-time defending State Champion Bulldogs scored twice in the first six minutes and fended off the Falcons despite being outshot. Home dates with Alvirne and Pembroke/Campbell are on the docket this week.
No. 2 Spaulding (6-0-0) followed up last weekend’s win against Bow by handling Somersworth/Coe-Brown on Wednesday, 7-2. They have back-to-back home dates this weekend against Timberlane (Saturday) and Kingswood (Sunday).
No. 3 Dover (6-1-0) walloped Winnacunnet Wednesday and has a makeup date with Goffstown and Saturday game against Pembroke-Campbell this week. The Green Wave rank among the division’s top-scoring teams, averaging five goals per game.
After dropping games to the two top-ranked teams in the past eight days, No. 4 Bow (6-2-0) now faces a stretch of one game in the next two weeks, pending makeups.
No. 5 Windham/Pelham (5-2-0) visits Somersworth/Coe-Brown Wednesday before facing off with Bow at home Saturday.
