Moynihan Lumber/Dynamik Sports 2013/14 Award Winners

HNIB News sponsors Moynihan Lumber and Dynamik Sports have announced, in conjuction with HNIB News, their award winners for the 2013-2014 season.

 

Dynamik Sports sponsors award winners for the Middlesex League.

 

Award winners this year include Winchester forward Nolan Redler and Wilmington goaltender Drew Foley on the boys side, and Reading forward Ali O’Leary on the girls side.

Moynihan Lumber has for many years sponsored awards for the Northeast Conference and Cape Ann League. This year, Moynihan honored Connor Irving of Beverly HS, who led his team to the MIAA Division II state title, and goaltender Keith Linnane, who backstopped his North Reading HS team to one of its best seasons ever and was named MVP of the Cape Ann League.

In 1972, two lifetime high school hockey fans started a weekly broadcast of Greater Boston high school games on WBOS-FM (92.9). The duo - Lance LoFaro and Darby Yaeger - called the nightly broadcasts "Hockey Night in Boston". As of late, HNIBnews - over 30 years running - has kept the scholastic hockey world on its feet with its widely-read website HNIBnews.com. In addition to HNIBnews, Hockey Night in Boston runs MassHSHockey.com, and also hosts summer tournaments showcasing the talents of scholastic hockey.
