Jason Finkelstein Walpole

– #4 Walpole blanked Somerville 9-0 behind an offensive attack led by junior Ryan Walsh who had an outstanding night, scoring four goals. Griffin Curran added two for the Timberwolves and senior Jason Finkelstein had a goal and three assists. They move on to the Round of 16 to face Auburn (Sunday, 2:40pm at Rodman Arena).

Aidan Harrington Duxbury

– #2 Duxbury advanced to the next round with an 11-0 win over Dartmouth. Aiden Harrington had a big night (3G, 2A) as did Liam Bonner (2G, 2A). Will Atallah, Connor O’Connell, Mike Yucius, Cormac Weiler, Reilly Murray and Hank Ballerene also scored for the Dragons who face Boston Latin in the next round (Saturday, 5pm at The Bog).

– Wakefield pulled off a thriller beating Plymouth North 2-1 in OT. Trailing 1-0 in the third, the Warriors tied it up with a goal by Andrew Nemec to force overtime. Matt Elwell scored the game winner sending the Warriors to the next round to take on Algonquin (Saturday, 7:30pm, North Star).

Brian Middleton Canton

– #4 Canton had a solid 3-0 win over Medford. After a scoreless first period, Travis Thomas, Jeff Chaput and Brian Middleton all scored for the Bulldogs. They face Wilmington in the next round Saturday night (6:30pm at Canton Ice House).
