
– Duxbury advances to the semifinals with a 4-0 shutout over Wakefield. Brendan Bonner, Tucker O’Neill, Brady Walsh and Cormac Weiler all scored. The Dragons have out-scored opponents 22-0 in their first three games of the postseason. They will face Canton in the semifinals this weekend which will be a game that is sure not to disappoint.
– #3 Canton blanked Newburyport 2-0 behind a stellar shutout from sophomore Colin Davis. Colin Blake and Jeff Chaput both scored for the Bulldogs who await an exciting match-up with Duxbury. Something will have to give, as neither team has allowed a goal yet in the post-season.

– Walpole pulled off the overtime thriller beating Silver Lake 2-1. Jason Finkelstein scored the game winner with a 1:40 left in the first extra session on a wrist shot to the far corner. Defenseman Matt Bianculli had evened the score at one late in the third period. Brandon Cavicchi scored the lone goal for the Lakers. The Timberwolves will now square up with Hopkinton in the semi-finals.

– It was a rubber match for Hopkinton and Norwood who split their regular season series. But, this time the Hillers came out on top, 5-3. Pavit Mehra scored the winning goal with 1:20 left in regulation to send the Hillers to the final four. Joe Carrazza followed with an empty-net goal. Carrazza scored earlier in the game as well, and Dylan Mansur also had a pair of goals. Norwood had rallied to tie at three after falling behind on goals by Sean Dittmeier, Michael Moynihan and TJ Martin.
