Canton’s perfect season (13-0-0) was in serious jeopardy Wednesday trailing by two goals in the third period to Franklin. But the resilient Bulldogs rallied and won, and followed that up Sunday with a big win over North Attleboro (another nailbiter). Taunton (Wednesday) and Bishop Feehan (Saturday) loom this week.

#2 Lincoln-Sudbury (12-1-1) just keeps on winning, as the Warriors posted Ws over Algonquin (5-1, handing the Tomahawks their first loss of the season), North Andover (2-1) and Haverhill (5-0).  L-S has a battle with Boston Latin Wednesday and a return engagement with North Andover Saturday.

Victories over Beverly (6-0) and Amesbury (3-1) make it 11 straight for #3 Masconomet (11-1-0), which qualified for the post-season in the process. The Chieftains have a pair of league tilts upcoming with #15 Triton Wednesday and Pentucket Saturday.

#4 Winthrop (11-3-0) also qualified officially for post-season play, taking wins over Peabody (5-1) and Medford (2-1) in NEC North play. The Vikings have two important league matchups this week against Marblehead (Wednesday) and Danvers (Saturday).

Medfield (8-0-4) is up a spot to #5 after a solid week that resulted in wins over Bishop Feehan (6-2), Bellingham (4-1) and Holliston (5-1). The Warriors have a stiff test Wednesday with Hopkinton and then a non-leaguer Saturday against Lynnfield.

#6 Tewksbury (9-3-1) was tied up by Westford Academy (2-2) before downing Danvers (4-1). On the cusp of tourney qualification, the Redmen face North Andover (Wednesday) and Concord-Carlisle (Saturday) this week.

League wins over Danvers (3-0) and Beverly (5-2) keep Marblehead (10-2-1) firmly at #7. The Magicians will see Saugus Saturday after the Winthrop matchup.

#8 Oliver Ames (11-4-1) also won three games this week, dispatching Coyle Cassidy (6-1), Attleboro (5-3) and then D1 Mansfield (4-2). The Tigers take on King Philip Wednesday.

Westwood (6-1-5) is #9 this week. The Wolverines get Holliston (Wednesday) and Bellingham (Saturday).

#10 Stoneham (8-4-0) is up four spots after winning five straight, the most recent a 4-1 conquest Saturday over D1 ranked Winchester. The Spartans get another ranked D1 opponent on Wednesday against Reading and face Matignon on Saturday.

Rounding out this week’s Top 15 are Quincy (11-3-0) at #11, Boston Latin (8-3-2) at #12, Gloucester (10-2-2) at #13, North Andover (8-4-2) at #14 and Triton (7-4-1) at #15.
