Massachusetts Boys D2 Highlights: Saugus Hands Marblehead Second Straight Loss

* Saugus handed Marblehead its second straight loss, getting two goals from Ronnie Paolo and one each from Adam Rodrigues and Chris Regnetta for a 4-1 win.

* Connor Doherty had both goals and Alex Graves and Mike DiBacco chipped in with assists in Lowell Catholic’s 2-2 tie with Shrewsbury.

* Quincy improved to 8-1-0 overall with a 5-1 win over Cohasset behind a pair of goals from co-captain Dan O’Leary and single goals from Riley O’Connor, Matt O’Brien and Griffin Lynch.

* Goals from Cam Souza, Evan Simoneau and Cal Tryder powered Wakefield to a 3-1 win over Wilmington.

* #2 Lincoln Sudbury blanked Tewksbury 3-0  in a key MVC/Dual County League clash. The Warriors utilized goals from Jacob Noyes, Johnny Oblak and Angelo Venuto in the win.

* North Reading won its second straight game, doubling up Amesbury 4-2 as Billy McCann scored two goals, and Stephen Robishaw and Matthew Ryan each had one.

* Methuen broke a three-game losing streak, posting a 4-1 win over Haverhill as Ian Beeley notched a pair of goals.

* Somerville locked up Watertown in a 2-2 standoff with goals from Chris DeSousa and Andrew Johnson.

* Logan Campbell‘s hat trick led an offensive barrage in #4 Masconomet’s 10-2 victory over Pentucket.
