Salem tied Swampscott, 4-4, thanks to a big comeback from three goals down. Senior defenseman Mike Rosengren played in net for the Witches with Brett Harring sidelined. Swampscott freshman Ryan Donnelly had a hat trick, and Steve Dandreo added a goal for the Big Blue. Matt Jalbert scored twice for Salem, and Derek Zwiercan and Cam Toomey added one.

Lowell’s Arman Garavanian scored once and added two assists in a 5-1 win over previously unbeaten Revere. Nick Cohan (goal) Brent Sullivan (three assists) contributed to the offense, and goalie Molly Millett made 15 saves for the Red Raiders.

Shawsheen was all over Mystic Valley in an 8-0 win. They were led by Paul Rice’s hat trick. Brandon Gentile added a goal and two assists. Tom Avtgis and Phill Mills clocked in for Shawsheen with a goal and assist each.

Middlesex League foe Lexington didn’t scare Bedford, who got goals from Matt Barbieri and Jake Citrano in a 2-1 win.

 

Lynn topped defending Eastern Mass. champion and next-door neighbor Swampscott, 6-1. Tony Uva (two), Corey Wojewodzic, Kyle Morrill (two) and Ryan MacDonald led the goal-scoring parade for the Lynn Jets. Ryan Donnelly had Swampscott’s only goal. Goalie Jack Stafford got the win for Lynn.

Blue Hills’ Nick Edwards had three goals and an assist in a 10-3 win over South Shore Vocational Tech. Kyle Moore (2-3) and Jason Grant (2-1) had awesome offensive days for Blue Hills, while goalie Andy Slack had a fairly easy night in net with 11 saves. Andrew Lydon, Chris Grazioso and Ross Casey were South Shore’s goal-scorers.

Cohasset beat Sacred Heart in the consolation game of the Cashman Holiday Tournament at Rockland Arena, 4-3. Adam Pagliuca scored and added two assists, and Colin Gillis scored twice for Sacred Heart. Goalie Sam Chapman made 29 saves against Cohasset.

Sean Linehan, Matt Curran and Joe Marella scored in Abington’s 3-2 win over Plymouth North. Jake Quinlan had a pair of assists.

Rockland topped Whitman-Hanson, 4-2, in a game that saw goalie Trevor Trudeau stop 24 shots. Colin Sheehan scored for Rockland, and Derric Trudeau and Shawn Kane (two) also found the back of the net.

 

Bourne fell to Division 2 Revere, 5-4. Scoring goals for Bourne were Austin Braley, Jimmy Commesso, Dawson Prophet and Jared Butler. Mitchell Eldredge added two assists for Bourne, and goalie Jack Lapass turned away 22 Revere shots.
