Hopes are high for the Panthers, who have been among the Top 10 teams in Division 1 the last several years. A solid group returns from last year’s 17-win club.

The Panthers should score goals with the likes of seniors Mckinley Karpa (46 pts) and Izzy Primack (35 pts), and junior Marlee Hamor (20 pts) back in the fold. Sophomore Tiffany Foster (13 pts) will backbone the blue line for coach Brian Seabury.

The Bulldawgs will be built from the net out and have some good depth on the blue line. If they can score consistently, it will be a good season.

Four-time league all star, Gretchen Howard, is back for her senior campaign and will be the backbone for coach Butch Martucci.  Senior Meg Chavis (11 pts) is a top returning blue liner, a group which welcomes sophomores Abby Stafford, Bella Perroti and Sophie Leray.

Up front, senior Mia Price (12 goals) needs 13 points to reach 100 for her career. Senior Kelsie Griffiths (27 pts) was the team’s top scorer last year. Sydney Adamson (12 pts) and junior Catie O’Shea (14 pts) also return. New junior Ashley Miles and sophomore Emma Carleton look to be impact players.

Sydney Cresta

Players from four different schools help make up the Magicians roster, which returns a good core from last season’s outfit.

Up front, sophomore Sydney Cresta (21 pts) and freshman Bella Peters (16 pts) will be a strong 1-2 punch for coach Emily Hudak Ries. Freshman Isabel Amigo is also a key returning forward.

Senior Brynne O’Connor, junior Elizabeth Legget and sophomore Caroline Kinne are all back on defense.

New head coach Ryan Sugar takes over the reins of the Chieftains and is looking for the team’s younger players to step up into bigger roles.

Izzy Sarra

Offensively, the Chieftains will be led by senior Izzy Sarra (33 pts) and juniors Lexi Rosenbaum (18 pts) and Sami Kelleher (14 pts). Freshmen Gianna Conte, Nicole McElaney, Mikayla Vincent and Bridget Lane hope to help out.

Other younger players to watch are freshman defenseman Nicole Flak and goalie Molly Elmore.

Great strides were made last winter by the Tanners, who set program records for wins and points. That gives the team optimism heading into this new season with a solid base of returning players.

Senior Elise Murphy, junior Cassandra Mirasolo and sophomore Jess Roberts will be key offensive players for coach Michelle Roach. Freshman Sammie Mirasolo looks to chip in as well.

Three varsity-tested defensemen return in senior Caroline Buckley and juniors Mae Norton and Kaydee Purcell.

In goal, look for either sophomore Abby Buckley or freshman Jeny Collins.

Ailish Fallon

MEDFORD (4-14-1)

The Mustangs are hoping some solid returning numbers will result in some improvement in the win column this winter.

Up front, senior captain Ailish Fallon (16 pts), juniors Mamie Powers and Summer Tufts, sophomores Brenna Forbes (10 pts) and Brianna Swanson and freshman Erin Allen (7 pts) will power the attack.

Junior Julia Shanahan and sophomore Abby Vigliotte will have key roles on defense for coach Rayanne Forbes. Caitlin Sheehey, Annamae Aurilio and Bianca Sasso return as well.
