Jim Clark joined Hockey Night in Boston in December 2019, and has covered high school hockey in Massachusetts for more than three decades. He also covers high school hockey and is a multiplatform editor for the Boston Globe, and previously spent two decades as high school hockey reporter at the Boston Herald, where he also served as the high schools editor from 2000-06. Ryan Hanson had a hat trick, Kiernan Ballard added the go-ahead goal and Upper Cape clipped Diman, 6-4, in a Mayflower contest.

Massey Ventre scored and Matt Smith made 39 saves for Saugus in its 1-1 tie with Beverly in the Northeastern Conference.

Anthony Patete had two goals and two assists for East/West Bridgewater, which outlasted South Shore, 6-4. Jeff Young added a goal and assist, with Sean Noonan, Kyle McDonald and Christian Bates also scoring.

Brendan Stamm Dedham

Brendan Stamm and John Doyle scored twice each and Dedham edged past Auburn, 5-3.

Tony Iacovone had a hat trick and Zack Dibona scored his first varsity goal for Greater Lowell/Nashoba Tech in its 7-4 win over Lynn. … Iacovone also scored and Cole Currier made 26 saves for GLNT in its 3-2 win over St. Paul. James Dixon and Jayden Auger had the other goals in the win.

Nolan Tomczyk had a huge game with four goals and two assists, propelling Assabet Valley to a 6-5 win over Grafton/Blackstone Valley. Brady Sawyer added a goal and three assists for the Aztecs, with Adam Vorce chipping in the other goal.

Jacob Pruneau’s third-period goal kept Fitchburg/Monty Tech unbeaten with a 2-1 win over Lunenburg/Ayer Shirley. Sam Jaramillo had the other goal for the Bulldogs, and Deavin McGivern made 23 saves.

– Led by Colin Murphy (two goals, two assists) and Jack Dunn (two goals), Littleton/Bromfield rolled to a 12-1 win over East Boston.

Trevor Seidell-Poirier had a goal and assist, Tyler Bialecki and Kraig Geissler each scored, and Chicopee edged past Amherst, 3-1.

David Girouard had a hat trick and Carson Langlois two goals, sparked Chicopee Comp to a 9-3 win over Ludlow.

– South Hadley toppled Wahconah, 8-3, behind the play of Austin Deren (hat trick, assist) and Joe Cigal (two goals, three assists).

Trevor Kuchieski and Sammy Knight each recorded hat tricks for Greenfield in a 7-1 win over Drury. … Kuchieski and Shane Prusak scored for the Green Wave in a 2-2 tie with Belchertown. The Orioles got goals from Charlie Fijal and Aiden Toma.
