Jim Clark
Jim Clark joined Hockey Night in Boston in December 2019, and has covered high school hockey in Massachusetts for more than three decades. He also covers high school hockey and is a multiplatform editor for the Boston Globe, and previously spent two decades as high school hockey reporter at the Boston Herald, where he also served as the high schools editor from 2000-06. Clark was honored by the Mass. State Hockey Coaches Association with its William Stewart Award for contributions to the sport in May 2019, and also received the Joel Perlmutter Award for media coverage in 2006. A graduate of UMass, he also spent eight years as sports editor/reporter at the Sentinel & Enterprise in Fitchburg, and has extensively covered high school hockey in Central and Western Mass. as well as Connecticut.

* Carter Laramie and J.T. Monahan scored goals in the third period to rally Marblehead to a 3-3 tie with Winthrop. The Vikings took a 3-1 lead in the second period on a pair of goals from Azi Hain and one from Joey Holgersen, who also had an assist. Eli Feingold scored the other goal for the Headers, and Zach Piersol had a pair of assists.

* Brandon Swaczyk had two goals and two assists, and James Guiry dished out five assists to lead Peabody past Lynn, 11-3. Anthony Bettencourt and Andrew Phillips added a pair of goals each for the Tanners.

* Owen O’Brien’s shorthanded goal in the third period gave Boston Latin a 4-3 victory against Andover. Noah Sargent scored twice and Sam Hutchinson had the other for the Wolfpack.

Brady Ferreira

* Evan Foskett had a hat trick and two assists in Haverhill’s 5-5 tie with Dracut/Tyngsboro. Brendan Fitzgerald added two goals and an assist for the Hillies, who got three assists from Brady Ferreira.

* Chase Perault netted his first varsity win as Tewksbury topped Concord-Carlisle, 5-2. Jason Cooke, Campbell Pierce, Anthony Pecci, William O’Keefe and Justin Rooney had the goals for the Redmen. … Cooke also scored twice in a 4-1 victory against Westford Academy. O’Keefe and Kyle Morris had the other goals.

Adam Solari

* Adam Solari and Matt Solari each had a goal as Whitman-Hanson edged past Southeastern, 2-1. Bob Siders made 17 saves for the Panthers, helped out by a big late blocked shot from Kevin Willis. … The Solari brothers also each added a goal along with Chris Stoddard and John Ward in a 4-1 Patriot League victory against Silver Lake.

* Jason Norwood’s two goals and two assists led unbeaten Plymouth North past crosstown rival Plymouth South, 5-1. Jake Fleet had a hand in all of the scoring for the Blue Eagles with a goal and four assists, Kevin Norwood chipped in a goal and three assists, and Evan Hallissey had the other goal.

* Brady Nichols had a goal and assist, and Xavier Abel also scored in Taunton’s 2-2 tie with Apponequet. Michael Albert assisted on both goals for the Tigers.

* Kirby Glynn’s goal and two assists sparked Masconomet to its 5-0 victory against North Reading in the Cape Ann League.

Connor Kohan

* Cael Kohan scored twice and Triton took care of Amesbury, 6-1. Connor Kohan, James Tatro, Ben Rennick and Tyler Godfrey also scored for the Vikings.

* Adam Falcione scored his second goal of the game with two minutes to go and Southeastern rallied past Diman, 4-2, in the Mayflower. Kurt Heath added a tying power play goal for the Hawks, and Matt Lavoie finished it with an insurance tally.

Dennis Morehouse
North Attleboro

* North Attleboro tied King Philip, 3-3, with goals from Jake Gruber, Jeff Baker and Dennis Morehouse.

* Chris Lavoie scored twice and Canton blanked Oliver Ames, 6-0. T.J. McCabe and Shane Marshall had shorthanded goals late in the first to break it open for the Bulldogs, while Johnny Hagan and Tommy Vaughan rounded out the scoring.

Kevin Borah
Bishop Feehan

* Goals from Bryan Metayer and Anthony Marchant gave Norwood a 2-1 Tri-Valley victory against Holliston.

* Kevin Borah and Cam Damaso scored in the third period to rally Bishop Feehan to a 2-2 tie with Medway. Cole Theodore and Tom Dwyer countered for the Mustangs.

* Gavin Doyle and Matt Mezza scored twice and Beverly doubled up Methuen, 6-3.  Jaxon Thomas and Bobby Hunter had the other goals for the Panthers, and Andrew Mezza had two assists. Colby Scott scored twice and A.J. Harb had the other for the Rangers.
