* Top-seeded Duxbury found itself trailing 1-0 in the early going to #32 seed Latin Academy/Fontbonne, but scored the next five goals en route to a 5-1 opening round win. * Algonquin advanced with an impressive 6-0 win over Auburn. Six dfferent players scored for the Titans – Emily Johns, Alex Cutler, Bryn Domolky, Lauren O’Malley, Maddy Glynn and Courtney Shifrin.

Leominster

* Leominster notched the biggest upset of the early going, stunning sixth-seeded Longmeadow, 3-1. Rachel Simkiewicz set the pace with a goal on the game’s first shift. Kaylin Hawkins and Alyssa Allan also had goals. The Bue Devils now travel to Marshfield (Sunday, 3:20pm at The Bog).
