All of these teams, plus several others, will be factors in the MIAA Girls Division 2 Tournament. Final power rankings and first round matchups are expected to be announced by the MIAA on Saturday.
The Girls D2 bracket should be one of the most competitive.
Duxbury (17-2-2) finishes the regular season at #1, picking up two nice wins at the Hingham Showcase over #5 Braintree (14-5-1) and D1 foe St. Mary’s (3-1). The Dragons should earn the top seed in the tournament.
#2 Sandwich (16-4-1) should be well-rested for post-season play after having this past week off.
#3 Algonquin/Hudson (14-3-2) will bring its solid offensive game (90 goals) into the post-season and will be a handful.
#4 Natick (12-6-2) will be a team that no one should want to play. The Redhawks are capable of knocking off anyone.
