Defending state champ Duxbury came into the 2023-2024 season on top of the Girls Division 2 rankings. After repeating as MIAA Girls Division 2 champions, the Dragons finish the season in the same spot.

#2 Falmouth, which fell to Duxbury in the state championship game, nevertheless had an outstanding campaign, winning the Cape & Islands League, and leading the state in goals scored.

Algonquin came on strong in the second half of the season, and continued that strong play in the post-season, winning three games and reaching the semifinals, where the Titans fell to eventual champ Duxbury.

#4 Canton, the Hockomock League champion, gave Falmouth all it could handle in a semifinal matchup, falling 4-3 in double overtime.

Rounding out the final Top 5 was Nauset/Monomoy, which reached the quarterfinal round and lost a tough 2-1 overtime game to Algonquin.
