Milton’s high-octane offensive attack was in full form Wednesday, and it needed to be as Wildcats defeated Bay State League rival Weymouth 12-7 in a shootout. Five different Milton players scored five points in the win. Elena Kapolis and Lauren Hill each had three goals and three assists.  Kat Buchanan scored twice and added four assists. Julia Scannell notched two goals and three assists, and Kate Driscoll added a goal and four assists.

Woburn got two goals apiece from Georgie Santullo and Marissa Gregory and one from Maddie Russo in a 5-2 win over Wakefield. Brooke Lilley and Courtney Hill scored for Wakefield.

Girls-Festival-Ad-300x250Caitlyn Burke made 38 saves and Karly Aguirre had a goal as Waltham tied up D1 #10 Haverhill/North Andover, 1-1, HPNA’s fifth tie of the season. Danielle Sindotti scored for HPNA.

Sandwich slipped past Dennis-Yarmouth down on Cape Cod, 1-0, on a lone goal from Georgie Snow.

Maya Mangiafico fired home four goals to lead Medfield to a 5-1 win over King Philip. Sarah Graham also scored for the Warriors.

Chelmsford edged Central Catholic, 5-4 as Julia Maybury and Riley Roche each scored a pair of goals. Kate Doonan had the other goal for the Lions.

Burlington remained red-hot, downing D1 Lexington, 2-1, for its eighth straight win. The Lady Devils got goals from Martina Scott and Erin Browne.

St. Mary’s pulled a mild upset, defeating Beverly/Danvers, 3-1 as Nadia Plouffe, Aylah Cioffi and Katie Terban each had a goal.

Riley McGlaughlin scored two goals, and Savannah Flynn, Cassandra Davis and Meghan Greene had one each as Quincy/North Quincy took a 5-2 win over Scituate.

Tewksbury/Methuen remained unbeaten (11-0-2) with a 3-1 win over Lincoln-Sudbury as Eryn Taber had a pair of goals and Kelly Golini one for the Red Rangers.

Pembroke blanked Martha’s Vineyard, 7-0, to improve to 10-2-0 and qualify for the post-season, Jackie DiPietro led the way with three goals, while Emily Rogers (2), Carly Birolini and Nikki Rinkus also scored.

Bishop Stang got three goals from Sara Cruise, and single tallies from Abby Arguin and Gen Marchand in a 5-0 conquest of Dover-Sherborn/Hopkinton.
