D1 #10 Reading fell behind by a goal early, then rallied with goals from Caroline Seibold and Kat Paradis to post a 2-1 win over #5 Woburn and take over sole possession of first place in the highly competitive Middlesex League Liberty Division. Jen Duran had the goal for Woburn.
A late first period goal by Megan Barrett gave Acton-Boxboro a 1-1 tie with D1 #3 Billerica in the MVC/Dual County Large. Macy Vercellini scored in the first period as well for the Indians.
Dennis-Yarmouth qualified for the D2 Tourament, erasing an early two-goal deficit to knock off Marshfield, 4-3. Amanda Crowley and Taylor McDowell each had two goals for the Dolphins.
Senior Michaela Kane earned her seventh shutout of the season as D1 #8 Haverhill/Pentucket/North Andover blanked Cambridge, 2-0. Rebecca Harty and Amanda Regan had goals for HPNA.
D2 #6 Burlington won its 12th game in a row, defeating league foe Wakefield, 4-1. Freshman Rylie Glennon continued hot with two goals and two assists for the Lady Devils. Julia Swarbrick and Meghan Gaffney each had a goal as well.
Natick doubled up Weymouth, 4-2, with goals from Nicole Segale, Rachek Kutok, Alexis Reisner and Maddy Metcalf.
After tying Ursuline, 2-2, Tuesday night, Milton again unleashed its potent offensive attack, beating Brookline/Newton South, 11-3. Junior Elena Kapolis had a huge night, scoring six goals (and an assist). Her fourth goal gave her 100 career points and was her 50th career goal. Kat Buchanan added a hat trick and Julia Scannell notched a goal and five assists. Laura Hill and Bella Calcagno each had three assists in the win.
