Mass. Division 1A tournament seeds announced

The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) held the Division 1A Super 8 seeding meeting Sunday at MIAA headquarters in Franklin. The bottom four seeds, ranked by winning percentage, will meet in play-in games Tuesday night at The Chelmsford Forum with the winners completing the final eight-team 1A field. The losing play-in teams drop back into their respective Division One Sectionals as the top seed.

* — Franklin’s 6-2 loss to Malden Catholic on February 13 was an exclusionary game for the Panthers and not counted in their record for seeding purposes.

** — Woburn’s 5-0 loss to St. John’s Prep on December 23 was an exclusionary game for the Tanners and not counted in their record for seeding purposes.
