St. John’s Prep

* In the Catholic Conference, No. 4 Xaverian and No. 18 St. John’s Prep played a 1-1 OT deadlock. SJP’s Owen Atkinson tied it with 7:48 left in regulation for the Eagles while Cam Smith finished with 24 saves, Aidan Rodriguez gave the Hawks the lead late in the first half and goalie Kyle McGrath turned in a superb 33-save performance.

St. Mary’s

* In the Catholic Central Large, No. 6 St. Mary’s completed a season series sweep of Bishop Fenwick with a 3-2 win. Senior captain Kyle LoNigro buried the game-winner on a Dave D’Ambrosio assist with 3:25 to play. Senior captain Colby Magliozzi and freshman defenseman Harrison Kinne (assist) also scored for the Spartans.

* Also in the Catholic Central, Archbishop Williams (3-0-3) remained unbeaten with a 3-1 win against Arlington Catholic. The Bishops got goals from junior Andrew Carragher (first varsity goal) and seniors Conor Kelly and Aidan McDonnell.

* In the Cape Ann League, Newburyport routed Rockport/Manchester-Essex, 9-1, steered by senior Ryan Archer’s hat trick. Senior captain Tucker St. Lawrence (PPG), senior Owen Spence (SHG) and sophomores Max Puleo (PPG) and Cam Caponigro – all defensemen – also scored. Seniors Tony Lucci and Jon Groth added goals.

T.J. Jones

* In a Patriot League crossover, senior T.J. Jones notched a hat trick as Duxbury knocked off Plymouth South, 6-2. Senior Billy Mrowka scored twice and senior Max Atallah once as the Green Dragons overcame an early 2-0 deficit.

Alex Barzowskas

* No. 11 Hingham knocked off Plymouth North, 4-1, behind junior Alex Barzowskas’s two goals. Sophomore Aidan Brazel and senior Evan Corbett also scored for the Harbormen and senior Jack Magner added a pair of assists.

* In Bay State Herget action, Walpole squeezed past Needham, 2-1. Senior Ben Quinn delivered the GWG on the power play. Junior Frankie Govoni also scored for the Rebels. Junior Tom Casey the Rockets’ goal and and junior Ollie Lamadieu had 25 saves.
