Streaking No. 6 St. Mary’s of the Catholic Central Large qualified for post-season play and completed a season sweep of Cape Ann League foe Newburyport with a 6-2 win on Saturday. Dante Maribito scored two goals, defenseman Brady McLaughlin had a goal and an assist and Andrew LoRusso stopped 18 shots. Scott Webster and Tyson Gudaitis countered for the Clippers.

Braintree
No. 11 Central Catholic rolled past Lincoln-Sudbury, 8-0, behind two goals from Thomas Manty and a goal and two assists from Jake Wise. Robert Ferreira and Andrew Nadeau added two helpers each and Matt Pasquale and Pat Schena shared the shutout, combining for 22 saves.
Bay State Carey leader No. 8 Braintree fought past No. 19 Weymouth, 3-1. Ryan Coady, Sean McGuire and David Giuliano scored for the Wamps while David McDonough had 27 saves. Mike Connelly scored for Weymouth.
Dylan Regan turned back 19 shots in No. 5 Austin Prep’s 4-0 non-league whitewash of St. John’s of Shrewsbury. Sean Heffron (assist), Aidan Curran (assist), Joshua Duarte and Alex Maffeo scored for the Cougars. Corey Splaine (30 saves) was strong in the SJS goal.

Hingham
Derek Adamson’s hat trick drove No. 10 Chelmsford past Billerica, 4-1, in MVC/DCL One action. Mario Serra added three assists and Charles McKelvey also scored. Patrick Keegan connected for Billerica.
No. 14 Hingham raced out to a 3-0 lead after one period en route to a 5-1 win against St. John’s of Shrewsbury. Jack Hennessey had two goals, Marc O’Rourke added a goal and an assist and Billy McNally contributed two helpers for the Harbormen, who got a 22-save effort from Matt Personeni.
Junior Matt Schreiner had a hat trick in Falmouth’s 6-1 win against Sandwich. Cam Tobey added a goal and an assist for the Clippers.

Marshfield
Marshfield handled Nauset, 7-1, in Atlantic Coast League play. Andrew Fithian led the way with two goals and two assists while Isaiah Jackson (two goals), Neil Shea (goal, three assists) and Aidan Connolly (goal, two assists) all had multi-point nights.

Wellesley
Wellesley kept pace in the Bay State Carey with a 4-1 decision of Natick. The Raiders got two goals each from T.J. Maley and Owen O’Connor. Carter Huff had three assists. Earlier in the week, Huff had a hat trick in a 7-0 win against Brookline.
Playing in the memory of freshman Sal Vinci’s father, who passed away Jan. 15, Bishop Fenwick scored an emotional 3-1 Catholic Central Large win against Matignon, the Crusaders’ first since joining the Large Division four years ago. Chris Napolitano, Eric Giguere and Rob Murphy scored, supporting goalie Bobby Lombardi (18 saves).

Burlington
Andrew LoRusso (22 saves) had the shutout while Eric Pedro (goal, assist) and Dante Maribito (two assists) sparked the offense in St. Mary’s 2-0 Catholic Central Large win against Arlington Catholic.
No. 13 Burlington scored a 4-1 Middlesex Freedom win against Wakefield behind a goal and two assists from defenseman Josh Boulos.

Triton
No. 2 St. John’s Prep rolled past St. Peter Marian, 8-3, behind two goals each from Kyle Hentosh and Mitch Shaheen. Shane O’Brien and Cam Ludwig shared time in goal with O’Brien credited with his first varsity win.
Senior captain Jack Norton had two goals an an assist in Triton’s 4-2 Cape Ann League win against Pentucket.
Also in the Cape Ann, Newburyport handled Amesbury, 7-2, as senior captain Scott Webster exploded for four goals.
