Arlington Catholic got off to a fast start on first-period goals from Justin Beecher, Jack Bertolami and Mason Beecher and cruised past Duxbury, 6-2.

Billy Roche scored the game-winner less than a minute into the game, Ian Murphy netted a hat trick and Kayser Raei had two goals and two assists as B.C. High rolled past Falmouth.

St. John’s Prep completed its Catholic Conference schedule with a 5-2 win against Catholic Memorial in the Derek Hines Memorial game, held annually in memory of the former SJP captain and West Point graduate killed in action in Afghanistan in 2005. The Eagles got goals from Danny Tighe, Anthony Quatieri, Scott Newton, Josh Cole and Kyle Hentosh.

Pope Francis got a hat trick from Riley Prattson in Friday’s 6-3 win against Fairfield (CT) Prep in the semifinal of the Pope Francis Invitational but the Cardinals fell to New Jersey power Delbarton in Saturday’s title game, 4-0.

Braintree got a goal and two assists from Liam Sage as it edged Weymouth, 3-2, spoiling the Wildcats’ Senior Night.

Zach Laramie turned back 24 shots for the shutout and Matt Belluche converted a Steve Schuhwerk set-up early in the third period as Andover knocked off Central Catholic, 1-0.

Chelmsford clinched a piece of the MVC/DCL Large title with its 6-0 shutout of Billerica. Derek Adamson had two goals and two assists, Mario Serra had a goal and three assists and Blake Alber made 25 saves.

Sophomore Jeremy Miller netted his second hat trick in the past three games and goalie Nick Jasinski had 20 saves in Franklin’s 4-1 win against St. John’s (S). Joey Blasie also scored for Franklin while Jack Herlihy gave St. John’s an early 1-0 lead.
