– St. John’s Prep picked off two more solid wins, beating Reading 2-1 and then Catholic Conference rival Catholic Memorial, 5-1.
Jake Vana gave the Eagles a 1-0 lead in the first period against Reading, and Ben McGilvray notched the game-winner in the third period.
Against CM, Prep had five different scorers – Vana, McGilvray, Aiden Holland, Harlen Garber and Tommy Sarni.
– Braintree took down Brookline 5-2 as Garrett Coughlin scored twice. The Wamps also got goals from Ryan Norton, Deni Tabaku and Kyle Hutchinson while blueline Danny Keegan had a pair of assists.
– Ray Carrabin had 24 saves and Ryan Flaherty led the offense with a goal and two assists in BC High’s 3-0 win over St. John’s (S). Aidan McDonnell and Matt Cox also had goals.
– An overtime strike from PJ Farese propelled Framingham to a 2-1 win over Brookline. Farese also assisted on Caleb Patrick‘s tally.
– North Andover downed Acton-Boxboro 6-1. CJ Carpentier led the attack with a pair of goals, while Logan Stiner, Brendan Donnelly, Cullen Dolan and Kyle Donnelly.
– Natick grabbed a 3-1 decision over Needham in the Bay State Conference. Sam Hubbard, James Carr and Ryan Comeau each had a goal in the win.
– David MacLure‘s goal with 29 seconds left in regulation allowed Westford Academy to knot up Waltham, 2-2. Ben Mulgrew also had a goal for the Ghosts. Tyler Frazee had 30 saves.
– Ace Concannon had the game-winning tally as Hingham slipped past Central Catholic 2-1 in a non-league battle. Aidan Brazel also had a goal in the win.
– A goal and two assists from Jimmy Fallon led Milton to a 3-2 win over Framingham. Declan Walsh‘s goal with 33 seconds left snapped a tie and propelled the Wildcats to the win.
– A goal and assist from Cole Pelkey led a balanced offensive attack in Chelmsford’s 4-1 win over Billerica.
– Cam Fici had two more goals in Belmont’s 3-0 win over Burlington. Matty Rowan also had a goal and Shay Donahue assisted on all three lamplighters.
– Duxbury got two goals from Tyler Walser in a 5-1 win over Whitman-Hanson. Brady Glass, Colin Hulett and Reilly Murray added goals in the win.
