Dover-Sherborn/Weston finished out their incredible season with a big 5-1 win over Hanover in the Division 4 championship game to claim their first ever state title.

#2 Hanover had a strong second half and proved they were a team to beat. The Hawks knocked off defending champ Norwell before beating Stoneham in double overtime to reach the championship.

#3 Winthrop, the NEC Champs just fell short of the state final after an outstanding run. The Vikings lost in a shootout to eventual champ DS-Weston in the semis.

Stoneham proved they were a strong force out of the Middlesex league. The Spartans put up a fight, but fell to Hanover in a double overtime battle.

Rounding out the final top five is Sandwich, who lost in the quarterfinal 2-1 to DS-Weston after a tremendous season.
