Norwell (11-1-0) continues to hold the #1 spot in the HNIB News Massachusetts Boys Division 4 Top 10. The Clippers had another solid week, blanking Hanover 3-0 and beating Cohasset/Hull 8-4. They have Plymouth North and Abington on tap this week.

Sandwich stays in #2 spot despite having a split week. The Blue Knights lost a tough, 2-1, game to D1 Barnstable and beat Pembroke by that same score. Big week on deck with Nauset and Dennis-Yarmouth.

Winthrop (8-2-1) is at #3 spot. The Vikings lost to Lexington 3-2 in overtime, but rebounded in a big way beating Stoneham 4-0 and Masconomet, 4-3 in overtime.

Shawsheen moves into the #4 spot. They lost 4-0 to a strong Essex Tech team but got back in the win column Saturday with an 8-1 win over Rockport, avenging their other loss on the season.

Grafton (10-2-0) moves up to #5 as they continue to impress as we reach the half-way mark of the season. The Gators beat Hudson 9-1 and West Springfield 3-2 to reach the 10-win mark.

#6 Amesbury returned to action with a 3-1 win over Beverly. They have Pentucket and North Reading this week.

#7 Martha’s Vineyard continues to roll as the Vineyarders won their ninth straight game. They avenged an earlier season loss to Dennis-Yarmouth, 3-1, and beat Mashpee/Monomoy 7-3.

Nantucket moves up to #8 after winning their lone game of the week taking down Bishop Stang 3-2.

Coming in at #9 is Dennis-Yarmouth. They hit a bit of a bump in the road with two losses to Nauset and Martha’s Vineyard. The Dolphins look to get back on track with a big game against Sandwich this week.

Rounding out the Division 4 Top 10 is Cohasset/Hull (5-2-2). They lost a tight 3-2 game to Latin Academy and another one to top-ranked Norwell.
